Teryn Silverleaf was born 150 years ago in the Gnarley Forrest. Identified early as being both skilled with bow and spell, Teryn was tutored by his uncle Florin, a mage of some skill. The two had a good relationship until wicked Orcs encroached on Elven lands. Florin citing the small number of Elves in the tribe counseled hiding and evasion; Teryn disagreed and spoke out for violence and battle. The elder wizard’s counsel was agreed to but Teryn secretly rallied almost half the number of tribe’s young elves, 26 in all who had yet to see their first century to his cause.
Teryn and his elves sought out the orcs and initially scored many kills but the orcs just kept comming and soon the young elves were slain. When the battle became hopeless Teryn turned invisible and fled. Unable to face the tribal elders Teryn left the Gnarley Forrest and has never returned.
